Four fire engines from Elm Lane, Darnall, Rivelin and Central stations were called to the disused Bellhouse Working Mens Club on Bellhouse Road in Sheffield at 1:10am on Wednesday morning.

On arrival firefighters found the roof of the detached building on fire.  Crews used hose reels to tackle the fire, while using the Aerial Ladder Platform to attack the fire from above.

Fire crews left the scene at 4am.

An investigation into the cause of the fire will now take place.
