Crews from Cudworth and Barnsley recently attended a persons reported house fire in Worsborough on Friday 28 July at 5:54pm.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus successfully rescued a lady from a bedroom involved in the fire and passed her to crews on the outside of the building who administered first aid until a paramedic arrived.

Crews left the scene at 8:23pm.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
